(More customer reviews)The Amana replacement icemaker water valve was/is advertised as a "universal" replacement for the manufacturer's original equipment. The replacement, however, has different water line fitting connections. This required substituting parts from the old valve to make the new valve operable. Fortunately, the old valve failed due to electronics. Had the failure been in the physical water line connectors, the "universal" replacement would have been a completely useless, and somewhat falsely advertised purchase.
